The La Cuisine Cafe journey from bean to cup started back in the day. It was an effort to serve a truly international experience right into your neighborhood. Ever since we’ve grown to be a group of passionate people who not just want you to enjoy your coffee but have a great time with us.

We grew to become the favorite place for coffee lovers of all age groups wanting to spend some quality time while sipping on the coffee we serve.

Today, we continue serving the best coffee in town and have built a deeper coffee relationship with the people of the Mid Market Neighborhood of San Francisco.

It gives me great pleasure to contribute to the community with the best coffee in town and a place to build relationships.

It isn’t just coffee. We serve a variety of refreshments, snacks and delicacies to satisfy your taste buds and make sure you get the best experience with us. We have a solid breakfast menu including market fresh eggs, locally sourced pastries and bread and fresh squeezed orange juice. Our Lunch Menu is one of the best in the UN plaza! We serve sandwiches, salads and daily Lunch Box specials.

Our Coffee Fans Speak!

I’m fond of this glamorous and arty little cafe in the heart of mid-Market, defying all the Downtown San Francisco trash hype. Efficient and friendly staff serve up hearty sandwiches and salads plus expert barista service and a very decent wine list. Tiny marble tabletops, great music, painted ceilings, and chandeliers complete the charm.

This cute cafe is very close to my house and I go here almost twice a week. This place reminds me of Paris, I love their beautifully designed interiors and the ambience.
The service is so warm and friendly. We always end up having a conversation with the owner on some topic or the other.
Absolutely love the iced mocha here which I usually order. The blueberry muffin is heavenly and better than most of the muffins I have had.
I have tried the New York style bagel here a number of times and it’s delicious.
I would highly recommend this gem to other people!

I ordered the California brioche toast, a vanilla chai latte with almond milk, and my boyfriend ordered the avocado egg toast and everything was delicious.

Went here for a quick bite before watching a play near Orpheum theater. It is just right across the street and so conveniently located near bus stops. As soon as I stepped into the cafe, I was reminded of Paris and its beautiful cafes.

The owner/staff seemed very friendly and was singing along to Parisienne music and patiently helped me choose what to order. I got their strawberry danish and a hot chocolate. Both were pretty good I must say. I’ve noticed most of the customers have ordered their turkey sandwich so that must be good too.

They do have outdoor seating (didn’t see any outdoor heaters though) but you can still dine in if you just wait for a spot to be free.
